    Paul Lang and Ian Thom discuss Thomas Couture

    In this video Paul Lang, Deputy Director and Chief Curator of the National Gallery of Canada, and Ian Thom, the Vancouver Art Gallery's Senior Curator of Historical Art, sit down for an informal chat in front of Thomas Couture's Supper at the Maison d'Or (1855), which is on long-term loan from the VAG to the NGC. After a year of restoration in the National Gallery's conservation lab, the work will be the highlight of the upcoming NGC exhibition Masterpiece in Focus: Thomas Couture in the Studio, opening 1 February 2014.
